The campaign guide for Witch Hunter: Dark Providence
can be found here, while the
official errata and clarifications document is here. With those files and the Witch
Hunter: The Invisible World rulebook, you'll have everything you need to
create a character and start playing. However, in case you'd like to get started quickly, we have a
selection of fast-play characters that you can pick up and run with.
You can play up to four (4) Witch Hunter: Dark Providence adventures
with these characters, and then take any Survival Points that you've earned
and transfer them to another character of your own design. Or, of course, you
can keep playing the fast-play character for his or her entire career. Our
current selection of fast-play characters includes: The Complete Set: All
of our current fast-play characters, plus a blank character sheet. The Adventurer: A
courageous wanderer with a variety of skills, a lot of luck, and a
blunderbuss in case his luck runs out. The Brave: A
stealthy Native American tracker who wields a mean pair of tomahawks. The Folk Healer:
Dedicated to the healing arts, this Witch Hunter also has some abilities
which the unenlightened might call “witchcraft.” The Hunter: A
deadly shot with a musket, the Hunter is a good ally to have in the wilds of
the New World. The Monk/Nun: While
not much of a combatant, this pious Catholic can call the power of prayer
down upon the forces of the Adversary. The Navigator: In
addition to being a skilled sailor, the Navigator is also a gifted fencer. The Scholar: The
Scholar is wise in many things, both scientific and supernatural, and has a
modicum of magical power at his disposal as well. The Soldier: A
brave and flexible combatant, dangerous both at range and up close. The Spy: The
charming, tricky Spy is invaluable for gathering information and utilizing
the deplorable, but sometimes necessary, arts of deceit. The Thug: The
Thug is a simple man, but he's very good at what he does, which mostly
consists of doing (and taking) a lot of damage in a fight. Blank character sheet: When
you're ready to create your own characters. |
